Sonoma County Is universally recognized for its pinot noir and chardonnay. However, it also excels with lesser known grapes. This petite sirah is a case in point. From the opaque ruby color, to the intense blackcurrant and forest floor aromas in the nose, to the complex flavors in the mouth, this is an engaging and well-made wine. Chewy tannins, lively acidity, and a sweet oakiness flush out the palate.
