Take a break from the traditional mulled wine, cider and other cold-weather staples to sample 1800’s best holiday cocktails, made from their most cold weather-friendly expressions paired with a number of delicious seasonal ingredients to spice up any Thanksgiving get-togethers you might be planning.
1800 Cranberry Orange Maple
2 oz. 1800 Reposado
¼ oz. maple syrup
1 bar spoon cranberry compote
2 dashes aromatic bitters
Orange oil
Directions: Press orange peel in maple syrup in the bottom of a rocks glass. Add remaining ingredients and stir with a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange twist and star anise pod.
