Elkhart Lake embraces the frosty snowscape of this year’s winter wonderland with the annual celebration of Schnee Days (meaning “snow” in German).
Schnee Days takes place January 29-31 and is an Elkhart Lake Chamber and community supported festival with a variety of wintry activities. Volunteers from local businesses organize family-friendly festivities including snow-yoga, 5k Schnee Lauf run, moonlight stroll, live music, chili cook-off competition, pub crawl, disc golf tournament, snow shoeing, ice skating, sledding, cocktail class and games for kids. Proceeds raised from the Schnee Days event goes towards helping a local charity and helps promote and support the Elkhart Lake community!
