Leading Loire Valley winery Langlois brings exciting news. The historic House is shifting its focus exclusively to its crémants, solidifying its reputation as the foremost authority on Chenin Blanc and premium sparkling wine in the region. This strategic move has prompted a rebrand, including sophisticated new packaging, to better reflect the wines' finesse and refined simplicity. Having noticed a gap in the market for accessibly priced, quality sparkling wine coupled with the growing consumer appetite for French bubbles, this decision was a natural evolution for the renowned winery.


Langlois, owned by Groupe Bollinger, shares the same unwavering commitment to exacting winemaking traditions and craftsmanship as the famed Bollinger family in Champagne. In order to focus entirely on sparkling wine moving forward, Langlois’ vineyard holdings and Sancerre production will be incorporated into Hubert Brochard, the iconic Sancerre estate that Groupe Bollinger acquired. This strategic shift will support the long term vision for Langlois to become the ultimate reference for Crémant. 


Unlike many crémants, Langlois incorporates a percentage of reserve wines into its blends which has been reflected in the new name change of its flagship wine from “Brut” to “ Brut Reserve” and the addition of “Crémant De Loire” to its logo design. With its exceptional quality production and meticulous attention to detail, this brand refresh accentuates the natural elegance of Langlois’ esteemed cuvées.  


Since its foundation in 1885 on the riverside of Loire, Maison Langlois has been devoted to sharing an authentic art of living that respects its terroir. With that, another important aspect of the brand evolution will be to achieve its ambition of producing 100% organic Crémant by 2030.
