Gay-Owned Napa Winery to Donate Portion of Pride Month Proceeds to It Gets Better

FROM THE WIRES...

As the only openly gay-owned family winery in Napa Valley, Gentleman Farmer’s founders and husbands, Joey Wolosz and Jeff Durham, are proudly Certified LGBTBE® by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Located right behind the French Laundry, Gentleman Farmer is known in local circles as one of Napa Valley’s most impressive alternative culinary wine pairing experiences. Jeff and Joey offer intricate and 100% homemade – right down to the house-made mustard, brioche, rillette, souffle, pancetta, terrines, and prosciutto – pairing experiences serve as a means of introduction to Gentleman Farmer. These lunches closely mirror the experience that will be on offer when they open their downtown Napa Tasting Bungalow in Summer 2023.

In honor of Pride month, Joey and Jeff are donating 10% of proceeds from their June sales, online and in person to the It Gets Better Project – whose mission is to uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe. Please find their latest wine releases below:

· 2021 Gentleman Farmer Napa Valley Rosé (SRP: $37) - 100% Pinot Noir, white strawberry, ruby red grapefruit, red cherry, and white peach aromas lead to watermelon, white tea, and brioche. Dry and crisp, bright acidity and a pleasant bitterness of grapefruit pith lingers on the finish.

· 2020 Gentleman Farmer Napa Valley Chardonnay (SRP: $49) - Sourced from the famed Muir-Hanna vineyard, bright acidity and purity of fruit burst with Meyer lemon and dried apricot, aromas of honeysuckle, roasted Italian meringue, and vanilla, and a generous, creamy texture.

· 2019 Gentleman Farmer Napa Valley Red Wine (SRP: $77) – 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, an initial impression of red currant and wild red cherry give way to Bing cherry, pie cherries, cola, and black currant leaf.
