FROM THE WIRES...

OAK'D is gearing up for its next wine dinner, which is Tuesday, February 28 @ 6:45 p.m.

February’s Pacific Mexican-inspired 5-course menu and wine pairings are as follows:

  • Mini Tuna Tostada with Black Bean Puree | Trinchero Napa Valley Mary’s Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley

  • Pan Seared Smoked Salmon with Black Bean Cucumber Compote, topped with Whiskey Candied Bacon and Chipotle Aioli | Protégé Chardonnay, Napa Valley

  • Smoked Pork Tamale with Salsa Verde, Crème Fraîche, BBQ Pumpkin Seeds and Pico de Gallo | Bravium Wiley Vineyard Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley

  • Smoked Iron Steak with Vegetable Medley and Texas Steak Sauce | Terra D’Oro Deaver Vineyard 130 Year Old Vine Zinfandel, Amador County

  • Mini Tres Leches | Lemon Drop with Hanson of Sonoma Meyer Lemon Organic Vodka

Our favorite Sommelier, Joel Dicharry, with the Trinchero Family Estates will be educating you on the wines and their history throughout the meal.
