The Sonoma Coast AVA is a huge xxx growing area in the west of Sonoma County. Some vineyards, often in very remote rural locations, have made notable wines that have effectively put the area on the map.

This wine is a classy, New World chardonnay that displays the classic French oak and tropical fruit attributes of that genre while retaining a racy acidity that underwrites its liveliness in the mouth. Quaff or serve with poultry with a formidable sauce or pork chops.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Warm medium gold;

Nose: Vanilla, pineapple, mango, cream soda;

Palate: Medium-plus acid. Mouth-filling phenolic backbone.Tropical fruit as described in the nose. Likewise vanilla from French oak.
