Montanaro Distillery in Piedmont, NE Italy, about five miles from Barolo and 45 miles from Turin, epicenter of world-class vermouth. Recent arrivals to the U.S., these are wine-first vermouths, with the botanicals designed to augment the wine content rather than mask it. 9diDANTE is a rarity, one of few producers in the Turin region to use 100% DOC Piedmontese wines, made entirely from native grapes.
