It's a balmy 99 degrees in Dallas. Hottest day of the year. Now is the time to attend a media event and test North Italia's Summer Sips - cocktails designed to take on the summer heat. In fact, one of them was even designed in Dallas, by Lacey Byers, lead bartender in the Uptown restaurant. It turned out that it was my favorite.
LIMITED EDITION COCKTAILS:
These four bevvies were thoughtfully created by North Italia mixologists from across the country who drew inspiration from classic cocktails like the Blue Hawaiian, Vodka Gimlets and Whiskey Sours––drinks the team has been enjoying since their 21st birthday as a cheeky nod to North Italia turning 21 this year. Below is an overview of the cocktails which are available for dine-in only beginning today through September 4:
BRAMBLE PUNCH (Dallas and Plano locations only) | Bombay Sapphire, Select Aperitivo, Smashed Blackberries, Ginger, Citrus ($14)
Created by North Italia Dallas’ lead bartender, Lacey Byers
DOLCE FIORE (nationwide) | Rose Infused Aviation Gin, Fiorente, Starlino Rosé and Lemon ($15)
AMARENA SOUR (nationwide) | Yellowstone Bourbon, Disaronno, Grand Marnier, Luxardo Cherry, Pressed Lemon ($15)
IL CIELO (nationwide) | Vulcanica Sicilian Vodka, Fiorente, Blue Curacao and Lemon. (Missing in above picture due to supply constraints on ingredients). ($15)
HAPPY HOUR TO-GO:
Exclusive available from July 3 – July 29 and varying at select locations across the country, North Italia will offer a curated Happy Hour menu featuring a selection of signature craft cocktails and shareable plates, available for guests to order to-go or order via DoorDash. A snapshot of North Italia’s Happy Hour To-Go drink offerings includes their Espresso Martini, Pomegranate Mule, Sicilian Margarita, and select bottles of wine, and food items include their Zucca chips, White Truffle Bread, and Chef’s Board.
Since its inception in 2002, North Italia has been dedicated to creating fresh, handcrafted culinary experiences for guests, while also providing opportunities for staff to flex their creative muscles and craftmanship – and our annual Summer Sips campaign conveys those pillars of excellence.
