An homage to the grape diversity of France’s southern Rhône Valley. 65% grenache, 18% syrah, 15% cinsault, 2% petite sirah (durif). The light translucent garnet wine expresses strawberry and cranberry fruit in the nose with essences of spicy white pepper aromas. Soft tannins, virtually no oak impact, and medium-bodied in the mouth. Flavors more complex than I first detected. Roll this wine around the tongue to appreciate the forest floor herbaceousness underpinning the fruit.
Ideal now with game, lamb, or moo cow, but can be kept 5-10 years.

An interesting new label.
