Led by August Sebastiani, 3 Badge Beverage Corporation’s Gehricke line of Sonoma wines has a new set of releases. The 2018 Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast mirrors contemporary winemaking in the area with its 9 months of ageing in 25% New French oak barrels. The Los Carneros Rosé from the Sonoma side of Los Carneros is actually a rosé of pinot noir as it comprises 100% of that grape. The winemaking involves whole-cluster pressing to stainless steel. The Russian River Chardonnay coopered for 9 months in 20% new French oak.
Production of this highly specialised line is tiny with fewer than 3,000 cases being produced in total.
All are ready to be enjoyed today and available from the winery web site.
